Amanda Davidson

Amanda was a certified financial planner and held board positions with a number of companies through her career including Baigrie Davies, Holden Meehan and Chase De Vere. She was involved with the sale of Holden Meehan to Bradford and Bingley in 2003.

In addition Amanda has served on the boards of financial regulators the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority),  FSA (Financial Services Authority) and the PIA (Personal Investment Authority). At the FCA she chaired the remuneration committee and was a member of the audit committee. She completed 12 years on the disciplinary committees of the PIA and FSA. Amongst other board positions, Amanda was a Governor of Channing school and Deputy chair of AIFA (Association of Independent Financial Advisors).

Having a keen interest in the arts, Amanda plays the violin in the London Phoenix Orchestra, enjoys theatre, opera, ballet and non popular films. She is centrally involved in a scholarship with Channing school for Transylvanian scholars and teachers. Amanda speaks French, some German and is attempting to learn Hungarian.
