He previously spent 14 years in fund management as an equity analyst and latterly as a fund manager for the British Steel Pension fund. A graduate in economics and member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, his particular areas of interest are macroeconomics and investment theory.
During his time at Saunderson House, Chris and his team have combined a value-based approach to investing with tactical asset allocation to deliver strong investment performance for clients. He has advocated a highly analytical and research-driven investment process, helping clients to avoid the pitfalls and black holes that caught out many investors during the financial crisis and since.
Chris is married with three children. He enjoys reading and keeping fit.
