David Morcher, FCA FRM

Having graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Mathematics with Engineering, David initially worked for Deloitte where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Since leaving Deloitte in 2010 he has worked in the investment industry, most recently at Aberdeen Standard Investments where he spent over seven years. In this time he gained experience across investment risk, portfolio management and research roles, and was latterly responsible for fund analysis across sectors spanning equities, fixed income and alternative asset classes.

Since joining Saunderson House in October 2019, David has held joint responsibly for research across a number of asset classes including equities, fixed income and commercial property.  He is a member of the Saunderson House Investment Committee, and presents research conclusions and investment recommendations at this forum.

In his spare time David is a keen sportsman playing football, tennis and golf (not as competitively as he would like!). He also enjoys holidaying with family, including sailing trips when he can find the time.

David is a Fellow of the ICAEW (FCA) and a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
