Chris joined Saunderson House as Investment Research Manager in 2004, was promoted to Investment Director in 2007 and joined the Saunderson House Board of Directors in 2009.
He previously spent 14 years in fund management as an equity analyst and latterly as a fund manager for the British Steel Pension fund. A graduate in economics and member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, his particular areas of interest are macroeconomics and investment theory.
During his time at Saunderson House, Chris and his team have combined a value-based approach to investing with tactical asset allocation to deliver strong relative returns. He has advocated a highly analytical and research-driven investment process, helping clients to avoid the pitfalls and black holes that caught out many investors prior to and during the financial crisis.
Chris is married and enjoys playing squash and watching football matches with his three boys.
