Saunderson House volunteers fundraise at Royal Albert Hall
A Saunderson House team volunteered at the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) Royal Albert Hall’s An Evening of Comedy on 29 March 2017. The team helped out by bucket collecting and distributing programmes before and after the show, raising a combined total c£440 for the charity.
The Who’s Roger Daltrey CBE, a Patron of Teenage Cancer Trust, has been the driving force behind the TCT Royal Albert Hall concerts since they began in 1990. The concerts run throughout a week each year, raising funds and awareness and inviting the teenagers to attend and appear on stage alongside Roger, thanking supporters.
The night was hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and featured stand-up routines from comics including Michael McIntyre, Jo Brand, Russell Kane and Kevin Bridges. Other TCT events at the Royal Albert Hall that week saw Ed Sheeran and Olly Murs performing and raising money for the charity.
Saunderson House is officially partnered with Teenage Cancer Trust for 2017-18.
