Chris, who studied Economics at the University of Cambridge, is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has spoken regularly on behalf of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
He enjoys that each client is unique, with their own personal goals and wishes, and likes nothing more than working collaboratively to achieve them. He has a particular interest in the use of cash flow modelling to tailor a high level roadmap for each client, which helps shape the strategy adopted in other areas. This typically includes helping clients decide how their families can be best protected, how to grow their portfolio and when they can afford to retire.
He is also keenly involved in operational matters, having helped develop and implement a number of advisory tools and platforms which Saunderson House clients benefit from.
Outside of work, Chris is a sports fanatic and enjoys many weekends playing hockey or softball, as well as hitting the ski slopes in winter. He is also a keen cyclist, having recently completed a ride from London to Paris for charity. Chris also spent two summers teaching sports to children at a camp in the USA, before joining the firm.
Chris acts for many partners, knows how we work, understands our independence policy, liaises well with the independence people and is interested in building long-term relationships…I’ve been with Saunderson House for a few years as I find them straightforward to deal with, responsive in terms of recommendations and answering my questions, good at listening and sensible in their outlook…I’ve been through a few advisers, these are the best and most user-friendly in my experience.
