Saunderson House partners with London Symphony Orchestra

Saunderson House has partnered with London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) as a member of the LSO Premier forum.

Tony Overy, CEO of Saunderson House, commented: “We are delighted to work with the London Symphony Orchestra. The relationship provides the opportunity to support a leading arts organisation with deep roots in the local community. The partnership with LSO is an example of our commitment to corporate responsibility and aligns well with the interests of our clients and the positioning of Saunderson House”.

The London Symphony Orchestra is acclaimed as one of the world’s great orchestras. It gives numerous concerts each year at its home at the Barbican in the City of London, as well as around the world. The LSO is set apart from other international orchestras by its inspirational and award-winning education and community programme, LSO Discovery. It utilises the artistic excellence of the LSO’s virtuoso musicians for the achievement of social and educational outcomes, engaging with over 60,000 people from diverse communities every year.

There has never been a better time to be in partnership with the London Symphony Orchestra with internationally renowned conductor, Sir Simon Rattle, taking up the post of LSO Music Director in September 2017.

Sir Simon’s role with the Orchestra will see him work across all aspects of the LSO’s activities – leading major concert series in London, worldwide tours with the Orchestra and sharing the LSO’s commitment to universal access to music through music education, community programmes and digital platforms.

Kathryn McDowell CBE, Managing Director, London Symphony Orchestra, said: “We are delighted to welcome Saunderson House into the London Symphony Orchestra’s family of supporters, and we thank you for your commitment to the LSO at this important time in the Orchestra’s history. We are pleased to be building this new partnership with our neighbour in the City of London, and we look forward to sharing the Orchestra’s diverse work – in the concert hall and with our shared community in East London – with your clients and employees this year.”
