Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Saunderson House

We are a business centred on people – a characteristic which is reflected in our CSR strategy. Our fundraising and volunteering initiatives are primarily devoted to helping our charity partner raise the vital funds it needs.

Charitable activities are planned by our Make a Difference Committee, chaired by our CSR sponsoring director Tony Wellby and comprised of employees from across the firm. Our leadership team is actively involved in our fundraising activities and we offer employees paid time off for fundraising and volunteering.

Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust is our 2017-18 partnered charity. Every two years, our employees nominate and vote for a new charity to partner with as part of our in-house charity partnership programme.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival of the seven young people, aged 13-24, diagnosed with cancer every day.

The charity funds and builds specialist units in NHS hospitals and provides dedicated medical staff, bringing young people together for the treatment they need from teenage cancer experts.
