Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Saunderson House

We are a business centred on people – a characteristic which is reflected in our CSR strategy. Our fundraising and volunteering initiatives are primarily devoted to helping our charity partner raise the vital funds it needs.

Charitable activities are planned by our Make a Difference Committee, chaired by our CSR sponsoring director Tony Wellby and comprised of employees from across the firm. Our leadership team is actively involved in our fundraising activities and we offer employees paid time off for fundraising and volunteering.

Parkinson's UK

Parkinson’s UK is our 2018-19 partnered charity. Every two years, our employees nominate and vote for a new charity to partner with as part of our in-house charity partnership programme.

Parkinson’s is a degenerative brain condition that can strike anyone at any time, regardless of age, gender or race. 1 in 37 people will hear the shock diagnosis in their lifetime. Many of our staff and clients have been directly or indirectly affected by the condition, so we look forward to the positive impact that we hope our fundraising and volunteering activities will have on the charity and the people it supports.

Payroll Giving

We are delighted to have achieved the Bronze Payroll Giving Quality Mark CAF award, in recognition of our commitment to supporting charitable causes through Payroll Giving.
